where those power lines are down she will be giving us a report as soon as she gets there. >>> san francisco police looking for a killer after a man and woman were discovered bound and gagged in the mid visitation valley street. now one is dead. terry mcsweeney is live. >> reporter: they were taken to san francisco general, one fighting for her life, the other did not make it. last night 900 block of brussels and san bruno avenue. police got the call 8:30 they found a man and woman in the street, bound and gagged, police are not saying if they had been beaten, shot or what the trauma was the man did die midnight. the woman is still fighting for her life. police say neighbors do not need to be concerned they believe this was a targeted incident. the male described only as in his 20s, no suspect and no motive. terry mcsweeney, abc7 news. >>> 5:02. the man charged with the murder of missing morgan hill teenager sierra lamar is scheduled to face arraignment in court this morning on additional charges that date back three years. 21-year-old antolin garcia-torres was arrested in may for

reservoir. it's right next to us, next to hay way 17. it's the largest rainwater reservoir in the santa clara valley water district and it's currently at 63% capacity. as you might guess, it's a different scene across the bay area. we have video from yesterday in marin county where water, if you can believe, was rationed once in the early '90s, but now the lake near mt. tam is full. it's overflowing. it's the a same for bon tempe dam. rushing water is cascadinger the top into alpine lake below. reservoirs don't typically top off until april. >> all of our reservoirs have reached capacity. that's the earliest that we have done that sense 1983. >> the earliest capacity reached in nearly 30 years in marin county. in san francisco the public utilities commission tells us its reservoirs are at 83% of capacity, east bay muds, five reservoirs are at a combined 85% capacity. district officials in santa clara say the reservoir in morgan hill is expect today overflow its surplus for the next week. reporting live in los gatos, abc7 news. >>> kera, thank you. >>> two people are dead of a getting wa

for a man who mugged a woman and then killed her dog. as abc7 news reporter tells us, a witness is offering a reward to catch the attacker. >> she was driving through on friday. she agreed to tell us what happened if we didn't reveal her identity because she's worried for her safety. she pulled over and couldn't find her phone and needed to look on the passenger side. >> so i got in my car and walked around. >> in the front seat was her dog, a 12-year-old dog. and he started barking because a man grabbed her. >> by the car and he took out my money. >> he turned his attention to the doc because he seemed angry that the victim only had $5.00 in her pocket. >> he looked at me with a blank look on his face, and he said i'm going to kill your [bleep] dog. >> after a struggle he snatched the dog out of the car. >> he put roxy over his head and threw her towards incoming traffic. >> roxy survived being thumped on the pavement but she was later put down because she cuffed major injuries. >> police are starting to collect data in the investigation. one witness saw it. >> she's really small and he wa

the portland mall shooting. 22-year-old jacob tyler roberts used a stolen rifle in tuesday's attack. 15-year-old girl was seriously wounded and is in the hospital. roberts' ex-girlfriend told abc news he was typically happy but changed in the week before the shooting, quit his job, sold all his belongings and said he was moving to hawaii. she has no idea what set him off. police continue to try to find a motive. >>> bank robber got away with a lot of cash. two photos released, this shows a man dressed in black robbing the chase branch in greenbrae wednesday 5:30 p.m.. the robber placed a bag on the counter handed the teller a note whatting money. anyone with information is urged to call twin cities pd. >>> berkeley high teacher scheduled to be arraigned next weeks for lsd possession and drunk driving. police stopped 50 1-year-old on -- the 51-year-old for running a red late. he had just left a restaurant. police say he showed signs of intoxication. when he was booked he was carrying a both of breath mint that tested positive for lsd. he was hired by berkeley high in august for one year as fu

121 in sonoma county. terry mcsweeney joins us live from there. it just reopened. >> reporter: it just reopened at 7:00, it was closed all night this is the epicenter of the flooding you can see the water and the cones out, everybody here knows this area is yet again, one high tide or one downpour away from more flooding. the water sits on the shoulder of highways 12 and 121 in sonoma, giving you a good idea what closed this road you couldn't get through the water covered all lanes last night. about 7:00 this morning, the waters receded and the road reopened. down the road at jenelle's cafe they've seen this song and dance before, every time it storms at high tide. >> people thought they were fixing the flooding it was more about the safety of that road coming out. they put the light in to help it and they did try to help some of the flooding but mother nature wins. it goes over every time. >> reporter: all things considered not much damage. a little here, little up there they did a brisk business in the days leading up to the storm today they are ready for the morning after. >> we hav

used. the arson investigation is on. terry mcsweeney, abc7 news. >>> scary moments onboard a school bus. >> a school bus that was rear-ended by a car in the east bay this morning 8:30. the san on east 14th street and 165th avenue, in unincorporated alameda county. four passengers onboard, two were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. >>> on the peninsula -- >> two people are recovering after a dramatic cliff rescue in san mateo county that tied up traffic this morning. the couple drove their car off a cliff in daly city. the car plunged huges of feet. one victim had to be carried to the top of the bluff that person is suffering from serious injuries. a second person appears to be okay. the accident happened 4:15 this morning. the rescue shutdown traffic along skyline boulevard, the lanes have since reopen. >>> weather starting to turn, more clouds, soon the rain will be arriving. >> we are enjoying the sun. >> a little cool. >> is definitely. but the rain won't be too far off. >>> true, you can see clouds starting to increase outside. that is definitely showing up on live doppler
